This was one I’ve been excited for. We had Ukranian galushki. And I also had more gyoza as well. There are so many types of dumplings from all over the world. I must have deleted my photo of the galushki. but I have thie weird photo of my piroshki bitten with the galushki behind it. Potato dumplings in a cream sauce with mushrooms.

And then the gyoza:

German buttered bread celebrated the last friday in September since 1999. I got a delicious loaf from the old german bakery in hoboken, I wish this bakery was closer because everything they serve is delicious. It’s a nice dense loaf of mixed flours. and also a sunflower sourdough loaf.

September 1 is National Tofu Day in the UK which marks the kick off of tofu moth. I had multiple tofu dishes this month, fried in noodles, with broth. Here is a soft tofu pudding with savory topping, and more info on Tofu Day in the UK from the website.
